Masajes del mundo(parte 1)
Queridos amigos!
Saludos cordiales.
Hasta pronto.

Dear friends!
Today I will begin a series of post dedicated to the different massages that practice in the world, especially those that come from East, that is the cradle of the massage par excellence.
I will begin by one of the famous and recognized world-wide level; the Thailand massage, also called “nuad-bo-rarn” ( nuat = pressure, to be called on in order to cure they boran or bo'Rarn = old).
According to the history, the Thailand Traditional Massage goes back to the time of Buddha, have been to say for more than 2,500 years, concretely to its creator Khru (masterful) Jivaka Komaraphat or Po (papa) Shivako, as the Thai Landers call to him affectionately. The old books tell that Shivako was the personal doctor of the Sakya cut, led by the father of Siddhartha (Buddha), Rey Suddhodana.
Khru Shivako, it had the knowledge of the techniques of massages with which one works in the Ayurveda medicine, the use of medicinal plants and the Yoga.
By another part, of all it is known that an important part of the Chinese Medicine is the Tui-Na massage, that is based on a deep work by means of pressures and manipulations indicated for the joints. Khru Shivako develop a technique fusing many of the strechings and asanas of yoga, simultaneously that pressures made with the fingers, hands, elbows, knees and feet, completed with manipulations of the Chinese massage.
The first western ones, in this case European, that they had contact with the Siamese were the French to half-full of century XVII. Indeed of the French it is the famous word by which the western Thai Landers call them “farang”, of “farangse”, “French” in Thailand. The French ambassador Simone de Louvered in the court of Siam, had a day an extraordinary vision of which it was a scene of Thailander Traditional Massage and clearly wrote a letter to Luis XIV, King of France in 1685 which he said thus… In Siam, the people who become ill let somebody able one in the art walk to them raises, treat their body.
In Thailand there are two differentiated affluent styles, the one of the north (but the popular one between the foreigners), and one in the south. it is in Bangkok where this the famous school , located in the temple wat po, can there be received courses from 5 days to 1 month, and is the unique one where a certificate of the Thailand department of health can be obtained. In the north, in the city of Chiang-mai, there are multitude of schools and training centers, but the only one where the health certificate can be obtained, is in old medicine hospital, also can be received courses from 5 days to 1 month.
In the Thailand massage a theory of meridians exists, but this is very confused, so but the appropriate thing is to follow the theory of meridians that is used in the Chinese medicine and shiatsu.
Possibly this it is the massage with more therapeutic benefits that are known, because the fusion of so many techniques at the same time, make them appropriate for many different pathologies
Warm greetings.
See you soon.

Ayurveda(parte 3)
Queridos amigos!.
1-Amla-acido.I
2-tikta-amargo.
3-sashaya-amargo.
4-madhura-amargo.
5-katu-picante.
6-lavana-picante.
-dieta adecuada.
-respiracion correcta.
-higiene adecuada.
-equilibrio entre ejercicio y descanso.
-pensamiento y actos positivos.
Un cordial saludo.
Hasta pronto.

Dear friends!.
Today I will continue explaining some interesting concepts of Ayurvedic medicine.
In the previous post explained that the three doshas and their qualities in this post i will explain in case of imbalance, how to treat them.
In Ayurvedic medicine instead of looking for a particular disease, the doctor examines the body to see what is in balance.the first to observe are the eyes, lips, nails and tongue are clear indicators of the state health, but especially the pulse, allopathic medicine just see the frequence, but in Ayurveda is used to observe the state of the internal organs, and there are 108 different types of pulses.
1-the one called snake, a rapid pulse would indicate a type of vata predominance pulse
2-in the case of predominance Pita, feel the pulse active and excited, indicating excess pita.
3-the swan pulse is strong and slow and kapha predominance would indicate.
In Ayurveda there is a purification system called panchakarma.this works on very deep levels, which includes massage, herbal treatments and all kinds of therapies blood purification, which will serve to eliminate toxins that unbalance our body.
In Ayurveda medicine we find the Gunas, which are the qualities that define us at the physical, mental and emotional.there are three, sattva (goodness), rajas (passion) and tamas (ignorance).
Satwa: intelligence, virtue and goodness, creates harmony, balance and light stabilities, principle of clarity and comprehensiveness, is the strength of the love with which we can reach a state of peace.is moving in and up and awakens the soul
Rajas: quality of change, activity and turbulence cause of imbalance, is the force of passion that causes pain and conflicts.is stimulating and often triggers pain and suffering, their movement is out
Tamas: quality of drowsiness, darkness and inertia, which covers or obstructs the actions.gravity as it slows and limits todo.trae ignorance and delusion in the mind and causes insomnia and loss of illusion of life.his movement is downward.
In Ayurvedic medicine food is a major weapon for healing, Ayurvedic physicians are known for being the first nutritionists the world, and help to classify the shallow tastes, there are six different types.
1-Amla-acid.
2-Tikta-bitter.
3-sashaya-bitter.
4-madhura-sweet.
5-katu-spicy.
6-Lavana-spicy.
A balance of all of them, will help us greatly to maintain the state of the doshas in harmony ...
Ayurveda is a fully preventive medicine and has some very important rules to follow.
-Adequate diet.
-Correct breathing.
-Hygiene.
-Balance between exercise and rest.
-Thinking and positive actions.
Best regards.

Actividades(parte 1)
Queridos amigos!

Dear friends!
Today I will make a small parenthesis about the world of Ayurveda and will speak of one of the activities you can enjoy in Atmaibiza ..
For over twenty years, my life has been close to the sport in various disciplines and specially aquatic adventures (my natural habitat by excellence), possibly due to my aquatic zodiacal sign.
In this post I will talk about a sport that every day has more and more fans around the world, a sport that has a fascinating history and was the precursor of surf, I speak of Stand Up Paddle, or better known by its acronym S.U.P.this sport meets very peculiar characteristics that make it very attractive sthetically, but very interesting on his therapeutic side, due to its great art for biomechanics and many other things which I will explain below.
The human being as you know comes from water, and we are formed by 85% of this necessary liquid for the life.As you know,we left the water walked out with four legs and was the evolution that made be standing on two today. So there is no better way to return to water, like do it on two legs
The S.U.P has a number of special characteristics that make it so incredibly beneficial therapeutically level.
1-When in standing and on a surface in constant motion, all the muscles of the body are working simultaneously.
2-To be substantially higher than in other animal-drawn water sports, feelings emotional-mental level are much more pleasant, because not only can enjoy the seabottom but also the land.
3-As we are on an unstable surface (depending on the width of the table will be higher this the more narrow sense than this), we will achieve greater stability once we get back to the land surface.
Without forgetting the most important thing, the healing power of water.
We also have to think about the large physical-therapeutic qualities that we can find some help (and even cure), back pain, migraines, vascular problems, tendinitis of various types, etc, etc ...
Depending on the type of board, we can enjoy many activities, as well as yoga, pilates, and even corrective gymnastics.
In massage courses offered in atmaibiza, SUP sessions are a very important part because of its big help to achieve greater coordination in making smooth transitions as performed in Thai massage.
So from here I encourage you to practice, but above all to enjoy this wonderful sportnow that we are so close to summer, because the best is yet to come!.
Warm greetings

Dear friends.
Today,I will continue explaining some interesting concepts of the Ayurvédic medicine.
In previous post i´ve explained about three dosha which we are built, but how to know wich dosha or doshas are predominant in each one of us. Each human being is unique and the proportion in our body is tottally different too.To know wich one is our predominant has vital importance at the time of doing a precise diagnostic, because each one has differemt types of associate pathologies.
Therefore,some characteristics of the doshas.
